About Me

My name is Demi. I am 18. I am British (but of Asian ethnic) and yes I do have a British accent (although with a slight American twang to it according to my friends) and no I do not speak like the Queen. I am from London but going to university elsewhere in England (not going to say where). I have a sarcastic sense of humour and enjoy things that gives me belly laughs. I am very random and often sprout out a lot uber random things, from Harry Potter references to knitting. Side note: I am a Ravenclaw (/insert like a boss). I watch a lot of Korean dramas (and Japanese ones but not a lot) as well as anime. I like sports, support Arsenal and love watching tennis.

Musical Tastes

First and foremost, I like music with depth and sentiment. What ever happen to the days when to be a singer, all you need to do is sing and express your innermost thoughts. Its saddening these days that the sentiment of true musicians is missing in a lot of ‘musicians’. And thus for some reason this preference translates to a lot of slow ballad-y type of music.

I am a diehard YG stan. Big Bang is my favourite group, the ones who got me into kpop. Others that are my favs include: 2NE1, Epik High, BEAST, DBSK, G.NA, K.Will, SG Wannabe, Monday Kiz, SHINee and more, but the listed are my favourites. I don’t have time for rookie groups, or groups that have debuted in the years 2010 to the present day. I don’t like ‘aygeyo’ concepts.

And as for non-kpop: Adele, Barcelona, The Scripts, Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Keane, Kaiser Chiefs, Bruno Mars, James Morrison, Boyce Avenue and more.
